This pickup was inspired by a vintage 67 Tele® pickup I rewound for a customer a little while ago.
It is seldom I copy a vintage pickup pretty much exactly but this is the real deal!
Wound to 6.8k with vintage style plain enamel (PVA coated) wire, it has hand bevelled, staggered pole pieces, and vintage spec black and white cloth hookup wire. It sits on a period correct, copper plated steel baseplate, and is lightly wax potted.
This is Telecaster® at it’s most twangy, cutting, and well, Telecasterish! Works with any style from blues and rock and roll, to punk, a toneful workhorse of a pickup for the ultimate workhorse guitar!

Built to perfectly match the SOL bridge unit. 43 gauge plain enamel wire, alnico 5 with a nickel cover and vintage hookup wire.
