REDNECK
Noise left out tone kept in
"I've always loved the idea of noiseless single coil size pickups ... but never really liked the reality. Apart from a few designs I found them disappointing.
However, over the years I've had positive reactions to the tone of 'rail' style Oil City humbuckers I've made as custom jobs, and in the winter of 2019/2020 I finalised the work on my first full 'production' rail pickup pair, the RedNeck - I even showed them at the 2020 Birmingham Guitar Show. Unfortunately the Covid 19 pandemic got in the way of a proper launch, and I decided to delay things until the world had returned to normal. Well it's 2023 and although the world is not quite what it was in 2019, the Redneck is fully ready to go - and that's only the start"

The Soapybucker
P90 size Humbucker tone
"Back in the day I used to gig a Les Paul Special with two P90s and over the years I've had many P90 equipped instruments ... I love the bright but punchy P90 sound.
However the P90 is not a pickup renowned for being quiet ... and you may find that in some venues it's simply not livable with. Hum cancelling P90 stacks are always a tone compromise, so I decided to produce the Soapybucker form factor that allows all your favorite Oil City humbucker tones to be bolted into your P90 routed guitar with no mods. A classic alnico 5 PAF style pickup like my Beano in Soapybucker guise will give you pure PAF style goodness with no tone compromise ... or you can have Blackbird or Djenerator Soapybuckers and get hard rock to wild metal tones"
