The BrassKnuckle took a rest from our lineup for several years but is back by popular demand in an even better specification.
This pickup uses individual rod magnets for each pole as well as 1.5 times as deep bobbins at the bridge position to give the closest to a single coil tone possible when coil split. Both neck and bridge benefit from steel induction plates under the magnets (like Firebird or Tele bridge pickups), but with this new incarnation of the BrassKnuckle we have used our unparalled experience with 'mixed magnet' use to make a pickup with the treble smoothness and responce of alnico IV for the treble strings, and the punch of alnico V for the bass end.
