Firebird and mini

Winterizer II

Replacement Firebird pickups are not exactly thick on the ground, so I’m proud to introduce my tribute to the late albino bluesman himself … my Winterizers.

Wound to an historically accurate output, with alnico  magnets, they have that ‘chewy’ but cutting sound that’s unmistakable.

Now you can put a proper, authentically made Firebird pickup in any guitar that will take a regular humbucker!

A Winterizer in a full sized cover, sounds exactly the same as a normal Winterzer, and is the perfect solution for those Epiphone Firebirds with full sized buckers … or even the Firebird Studio.

Why not give LP style guitars or even Flying Vs a new and interesting sound?

Now to full Masterwound spec with period correct wire!

A seventies classic, the mini humbucker.

Not too many options about with aftermarket versions of this classic … Till now!

That classic sparkle and growl with added mounting versatility for non Gibson guitars.

Available in traditional mounting (illustrated) or modern standard height adjustor screws.

6.5k Neck, Bridge 7.4k (average)

Note: the stock version uses threaded baseplate feet

Please phone if you need vintage stile ‘large hole’ ones, availability of these varies.
